  • How do I submit my work to be performed?

    We’d love to review your written work to potentially feature it on the show. Please follow this link to submit it!

    *Not all submissions will be performed. We can only produce so many episodes, and depending on timing, format, and content, we may not be able to feature your piece.

  • How do I become a voice actor on the show?

    Sell Yourself Short works with a pool of voice actors, which we are always hoping to expand. We work har to find the best match of the voices and scripts, and are always looking to hear new, diverse voices. If you are interested in performing, please submit an audition by following this link.

    *Not all voice actors will be selected to record. We can only produce so many episodes, and not every voice will be matched with a script.

  • Are the authors/actors paid?

    The authors and actors featured on Sell Yourself Short are all volunteers. Authors submit and grant the rights to their work to be performed in audio format by voice actors.

  • Can people under the age of 18 audition?

    At this time we are only seeking voice actors over the age of 18.

  • Can people under 18 submit their writings?

    Yes they can! Though the overall rating for the podcast is MA as performance pieces often contain mature themes, we encourage anyone to submit to keep growing in their craft.

    *For applicants under the age of 18 Sell Yourself Short will require written permission from a parent or guardian for the applicant’s work to be featured on the show, as well as permission for the applicant to participate in the interview.
